Now in its 29th year, Venezia is an Italian restaurant that has become a Berkeley institution acclaimed for its great food, value and atmosphere. Venezia's menu features a wide assortment of fresh pasta, meats and fish, a moderately priced wine list, full bar and weekly specials created under the able hand of chef Cindy Deetz.

All this is served in a charming interior that invokes an Italian piazza with floor-to-ceiling murals, a central fountain, hanging laundry, wrought iron balconies, and even roosting faux pigeons! Venezia is child friendly and has a warm, personable staff. Parking is available on the street, or in our lot behind the restaurant .

Venezia is one of the few restaurants in town that can accommodate large parties with ease. We have a private dining room that can seat 25 comfortably, and the main dining room seats parties up to 40 in a bustling, festive atmosphere. We're the perfect place for a business lunch, company celebration, pre-wedding dinner, banquet or birthday party. The restaurant is available for private events. Please call for more information.
